A hard of hearing support group is for anyone who may need or want help, as well as family, friends and work colleagues, where everyone can help and support each other with their hearing loss.
The Hard of Hearing Support Group is where you can join in conversation, ask questions, meet other people who may have a similar problem as yourself. You can leave a message of how you are feeling or coping, ask others how they are feeling and coping. Not just for people with hearing problems, it is also for their families, friends and work colleagues.
People who may need help because of a medical problem, where they may not be able to use their voice and may need help learning how to communicate effectively without voice.
We also have a monthly support group, which is run every second Tuesday in the month, 1pm to 2-30pm in rooms 3 & 4. This group is called H.I.S. Hearing Information Support. For more information please ring Jill on 0161-7612079.
Skype is a program that you can connect to friends, family and other colleagues. You can have a conversation face to face with someone whether are hard of hearing or not, it's worth taking at look at this program.
